摘要: This article mainly studies smoke suppression properties and synergistic flame retardant effects of iron oxide green on intumescent epoxy resins (IFREP) using ammonium polyphosphate pentaerythritol as retardants. Then, the (Fe2O3⋅H2O) composites were evaluated cone calorimeter test (CCT), density (SDT), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric analysis-infrared spectrometry. Remarkably, CCT data reveal that a moderate amount can apparently reduce heat release rate, total release, etc. On other hand, SDT results show catalyze carbonization IFREP at low temperature. Here, is considered to be an effective agent good synergism with IFR in resins, which greatly improve structure char residue realized by SEM results.
