The interpolating element-free Galerkin (IEFG) method for two-dimensional potential problems

摘要: In this paper, a new method for deriving the moving least-squares (MLS) approximation is presented, and interpolating (IMLS) proposed by Lancaster improved. Compared with IMLS Lancaster, simpler formula of shape function given in improved paper so that has higher computing efficiency. Combining constructed Galerkin weak form elasticity problems, element-free (IEFG) two-dimensional problems corresponding formulae are obtained. IEFG method, boundary conditions can be applied directly which makes efficiency than conventional EFG method. Some numerical examples presented to demonstrate validity
