摘要: A system and method for parallel speech recognition processing of multiple audio signals produced by microphones in a handheld portable electronic device. In one embodiment, primary processor transitions to power-saving mode while an auxiliary remains active. The then monitors the user device detect wake-up command parallel. When detects it transition active mode. may also identify which microphone resulted being recognized with highest confidence. Other embodiments are described.
