摘要: Publisher Summary The widely contrasting histological appearances of the epiphysial plate and adjacent metaphysial tissues are found under different conditions growth retardation. These structural differences can be explained according to particular stage or stages sequence cellular events endochondral bone that is affected. Thus, a number factors, including pituitary hormone, dietary intake, mechanical compression, primarily influence proliferation cartilage itself. Variations in rate produced by these factors reflected thickness plate, an increased being associated with thickened retarded thinned each case without other important abnormality. Such relationship between does not, however, apply effects irradiation, vitamin D deficiency, thyroid retardation agents—which maturation vascularization as well its proliferation—being thickness.
