摘要: Microfluidic and lab-on-a-chip systems have become increasingly important tools across many research fields in recent years. As a result of their small size precise flow control, as well ability to enable situ process visualization, microfluidic are finding applications environmental science engineering. Broadly speaking, main present within these include use sensors for water contaminant analysis (e.g., heavy metals organic pollutants), microorganism detection virus bacteria), platforms the investigation environment-related problems bacteria electron transfer biofilm formation). This chapter aims review microfluidics engineering – with particular focus on foregoing topics. The advantages limitations when compared traditional methods also surveyed, several perspectives future development into offered.
