摘要: 128 Azomethines were synthesized through condensation of carbonyl compounds with various amines in pyridine the presence Me3SiCl as promoter and water scavenger 58–98 % yield. Et3N was added to reaction mixtures before precipitating product H2O prevent acid catalyzed hydrolysis C=N bond. The scope limitation method are discussed. High yields simple setup/workup procedure make this suitable for combinatorial synthesis azomethines, which starting materials high throughput libraries. azomethines used a one-pot amides.
