摘要: Summary Summary A general method for the evaluation of macrorestriction fragment patterns is presented and its applicability to taxonomy bacteria demonstrated 32 Pseudomonas species. Strains were differentiated at species subspecies level by genome size fingerprints chromosome that had been separated on pulsed-field gels. The relatedness was ascertained from similarity Asnl, Dral, Spel, Sspl or Xbal patterns. In general, dendrograms calculated corresponded with phylogenetic classification obtained phenotypic marker nucleic acid hybridization analysis, but several exceptions noted. techniques algorithms herein are generally applicable analysis bacteria, lower eukaryotes, DNA fragments cloned in yeast artificial chromosomes.
