摘要: Denitrifying sulfide removal (DSR) process simultaneously converts sulfide, nitrate, and chemical oxygen demand from industrial wastewaters to elemental sulfur, nitrogen gas, carbon dioxide, respectively. This investigation utilizes a dilution-to-extinction approach at 10−2 10−6 dilutions elucidate the correlation between composition of microbial community DSR performance. In original suspension in dilution, strains Stenotrophomonas sp., Thauera Azoarcus sp. are heterotrophic denitrifiers Paracoccus Pseudomonas sulfide-oxidizing denitrifers. The 10−4 dilution is identified as functional consortium for present system, which comprises two strains, strain At all performance was lost. functions constituent cells granules were discussed based on data obtained using approach.
