摘要: Co(salen)-type [where salen = di-(salicylal)-ethylenediimine] complexes were shown to be efficient catalysts in the oxidation of 2-phenylpropane (cumene) by dioxygen primarily 2-phenyl-2-propanol (cumyl alcohol), 2-phenylpropene (α-methylstyrene), and 1-phenylethanone (acetophenone) applying 1H NMR spectroscopy gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC–MS). The effect substitution on ligand was also monitored both oxygen-absorption catalytic reaction. Based these results, trend observed for production α-methylstyrene cumyl alcohol parallel uptake catalyst neat cumene, while acetophenone productions obeyed a non-linear trend. best selectivity reaction terms complex with least feature. intermediate reaction, LCo(III)-OOcumyl (where L salen) complex, synthesized characterized IR, as well elemental analysis, its reactivity present studied.
