摘要: Approximate formulas for the complex propagation constant and characteristic field configuration dielectric‐filled traveling wave slot antennas are obtained by a variational procedure. To set up method, generalized reciprocity theorem line sources is deduced; it differs considerably from point sources. A perturbation technique solving equations given. Formulas worked out rectangular guides good agreement with available measurements obtained.
