Hyaluronic acid injections relieve knee pain.

摘要: OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficacy of intra-articular viscosupplementation therapy with hyaluronic acid for pain relief knee osteoarthritis, we conducted a meta-analysis randomized, double-blinded, placebo-controlled trials. METHODS We searched systematically trials (hyaluronan and hylan G-F20) osteoarthritis. Studies reporting visual analogue scale (VAS) differences were included in meta-analysis. Changes measured by VAS placebo treatment, summary estimates between 2 arms calculated at 1 week, 5 to 7 weeks, 8 12, 15 22 weeks after last injection. Sources heterogeneity assessed using information on quality score, type viscosupplementation, change activity or rest. Heterogeneity across studies was significant all analyses (P<.01); therefore random effect model used.
