摘要: We encountered a 62-year-old female patient with distinctive pancreatic myoepithelial hamartoma characterized by dilated loops formed branch ducts. The patient, who experienced recurrent acute pancreatitis caused juice stasis, underwent subtotal stomach-preserving pancreatoduodenectomy, achieving remission of pancreatitis. Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) demonstrated honeycomb appearance the head, consisting largely loop-forming Radiography resected specimens tortuous main duct that narrowed in but communicated ducts forming intricate within lesion. Histologic examination showed embedded thick layers smooth muscle, leading to diagnosis hamartoma. Her son shared similar clinical course, radiologic findings, histopathologic findings his mother. MRCP head her daughter, complained persistent diarrhea. To our knowledge, this is first English-language reports such pancreas showing familial occurrence.
