摘要: ABSTRACT A decision was taken in 1978 to increase the base metal production capacity at Rustenburg Base Metals Refiners (Pty.) Ltd. (RBMR). Seventeen different options were proposed and after full evaluation a new refinery built commissioned towards end of 1981. The original basic process, with nickel copper cathodes, cobalt sodium sulphate crystals as products, chosen, which also allowed continued use operating, technical marketing experience skills that had been developed over previous twelve years. This paper discusses attainment high quality electrowon required raise metallurgical operation from recovery plant platinum mine on par other producers.
