摘要: Carcinomas in the superior pulmonary sulcus produce “Pancoast’s syndrome,” involving pain shoulder and ulnar distribution of arm hand, as well Horner’s syndrome. Careful evaluation appropriate staging select patients for preoperative irradiation (3000 rads) over a 2- or 3-week period. After to 4-week interlude, surgical resection chest wall, lower brachial plexus, lung en bloc produces 5-year survival rate 30 per cent.
