摘要: Cultivation of energy crops under the normal conditions to produce biomass is thought be one important ways develop substitute energy. The present experiment was conducted detect yielding capacity, juice physicochemical properties and alcohol productivity selected sweet sorghum line AM-4, evaluate its possible value as an crop. results showed that AM-4 had high yield (44.4-46.1t/ha), brix (18.2-23.2) sucrose content (11-12%), short growth period (four months) wide adaptability. Results from fermentation test indicated production rate higher than 9% can obtained through with either S. cerevisiae or Sf yeast strain at 30℃ within two days. needed temperature easily achieved by use abundant solar radiation in Taiwan. Therefore input cost reduced considerably.
