摘要: Abstract Linearized scattering theory is used to describe three-dimensional surface wave by topography on a layered medium. A short derivation for the scattered presented. The implications and limitations of are discussed qualitatively. Furthermore, an expression presented partial derivatives phase velocities with respect topography. It shown that periods between 15 30 sec, fundamental mode velocity perturbation due order 1 per cent mountain km height. For higher velocities, effects negligible.
