摘要: Abstract When simulating, by FE analyses, the mechanical behavior of complex structures, different degrees mesh refinement or element formulations may be needed throughout structure. Indeed, depending on geometrical configuration structure and its response in terms stress distributions to applied loading conditions, some regions need represented an increased number elements, elements higher order guarantee desired accuracy results. dealing with such multiscale (global-local) approaches are commonly adopted optimize computational cost increasing refinements /or introducing specific region structures identified as “local model” connected rest “global model”.This paper addresses issue connecting non matching global local modelsby appropriate kinematic constraints at interfaces. A sensitivity analysis simple specimen is presented here.
