摘要: The aim of the present study was to determine whether sensitivity murine lymph-node cells isoantibodies against ϑ and Ly-antigens depends on presence thymus. Neonatal adult mice various strains were thymectomized their tested at intervals after thymectomy. Following either neonatal or thymectomy, RIII/Jem lost cytotoxic effect ϑ-AKR antibodies. neonatally C57BL/6 became refractory ϑ-C 3 H antibodies, whereas DBA/1 Ly-antibodies. In C H/An mice, thymectomy resulted in an almost complete loss Some RIII grafted with allogeneic thymuses, lymph nodes examined 2 weeks later. such reconstituted animals contained displaying isoantigenicity distinctive for thymic graft. addition, these a slightly greater number host sensitive antibodies than did littermates which not receive thymus grafts. These results indicate that are Ly-isoantibodies thymus-dependent, least some them thymus-derived. Moreover, may possibly affect expression by indirect control mechanism.
