摘要: Two experimental studies were conducted to investigate flexor tendon excursions. In the first study, excursions due passive joint motion in various loading condition evaluated. second efficacy of a new technique that used synergistic wrist (S-splint) was compared with traditional dorsal splinting methods: Kleinert splint (K-splint) and Brooke Army Hospital/Walter Reed modified palmar bar (P-splint). The results these question anticipated excursion associated postoperative splinting. They demonstrated measured under low tension almost half theoretically predicted values. zone II, magnitude introduced by three mobilization methods descending order: S-splint, P-splint, K-splint (p less than 0.05). Differential between digitorum profundus superficialis had mean value 3 mm not significantly different among methods. Passive proximal interphalangeal most effective means providing increased amplitude gliding II. distal did increase II as much been predicted.
