X-Ray Photoelectron Spectra of the Valence Bands of Some Transition Metals and Alloys

摘要: Valence-band spectra of Cu, Ni, and Ag, obtained using x-ray photoemission, are compared with one-electron densities states. Similar measurements on the CuNi AgPd alloy systems shown to be compatible predictions coherent-potential approximation.
