摘要: The purpose of the present paper was to review psychological theories autism, and integrate these with neurobiological findings. Cognitive, theory mind, language coherence were identified, briefly reviewed. Psychological found not account for rigid/repetitive behaviours universally described in autistic subjects, underlying systems identified. When developing brain encounters constrained connectivity, it evolves an abnormal organization, features which may be best explained by a developmental failure neural where high local connectivity develops tandem low long-range resulting constricted repetitive behaviours.
