Providing shared-medium multiple access capability in point-to-point communications

摘要: The present invention provides shared communication medium capability to the plethora of computer devices, like PCCAs, that normally are able communicate with other devices via dedicated point-to-point links, e.g., practically universal RS-232 ports. It allows sharing in a dynamic fashion depending on instantaneous traffic demands by various communicating devices. further emulation links over communications such way applications running PCCA use transparently. Thus, this enables designed operate connection without any modifications or and resource allocation using device's I/O ports for allocation.
