摘要: In two patients infective endocarditis developed as the primary manifestation of idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis. Infected vegetations were present on mitral and aortic valves. addition, bacterial observed septal endocardium at site contact between valve leaflet septum. Thus, chronic endocardial trauma, a common finding in stenosis, may provide fertile nidus for development vegetation.
