Predictors of the Successful Completion of a Biology College Course with a Laboratory Component

摘要: This study suggests guidelines that predict the success of students in a college level introductory biology class with laboratory component before beginning such course. An empirical analysis academic credentials, as transcripts and degree audits, prior to taking course, is basis this study. In addition personal motivation interest, elements cannot be measured scientifically, Grade Point Average (GPA), previously completed science mathematics courses, well measure number semesters between prerequisites lab are key successful completion. Students higher GPAs courses do better course component.
