摘要: Tumours producing regulatory peptides or amines common to the nervous and endocrine systems are called neuroendocrine tumours [1, 2]. They composed of variably differentiated cells that share a number morphologic markers normally expressed by neurons [3, 4]. In laboratory animals, occurrence tumours, which is virtually null in young shows an extraordinary increase with age [5, 6]. The reasons for this phenomenon still poorly understood; however it has been hypothesised tissues become particularly susceptible transformation following age-related endocrinological imbalances [5–7].
