摘要: Abstract This work reports on the presence of an endogenous lipoprotein in Lagenidium giganteum and Phytophthora cinnamomi as well from related non-sterol-deficient Oomycete species callinectes , Zoophagus insidians . The lipoproteins comprise 0.2-1.0% total cell protein are easily extracted with 0.2% Tween-80. is homogeneous following heparin-agarose chromatography nondenaturing gel electrophoresis. holoprotein all had a molecular mass 320,000 Da contained four identical subunits 40,600. exhibited similar physical characteristics to human low-density (LDL) it comigrated LDL agarose gels, coeluted columns, buoyant density 1.006-1.063 g/cm 3 associated lipids varied quantitatively by included dolichol, diglycerides, phospholipids. sterol-deficient bound exogenous cholesterol without displacement any native lipoprotein.
