Testing and Modeling the Behavior of Riverbed and Blasted Quarried Rockfill Materials

摘要: AbstractModeled rockfill materials were obtained from nine sites (two riverbed and seven quarried) different projects in India Nepal, drained triaxial tests conducted with specimens that 381 mm diameter 813 high. Index properties of the materials, namely, unconfined compressive strength (UCS) uncompacted void content (UVC), determined. An elastoplastic hierarchical singe-surface (HISS) constitutive model was used to characterize behavior modeled materials. The predicted stress-strain-volume change compared observed behavior, it found both matched closely.
