摘要: Pectobacterium species are enterobacterial plant-pathogens that cause soft rot disease in diverse plant species. Unlike hemi-biotrophic pathogenic bacteria, the type III secretion system (T3SS) of carotovorum subsp. (P. carotovorum) appears to secrete only one effector protein, DspE. Previously, we found T3SS regulator HrpL and DspE required for P. pathogenesis on leaves. Here, identified genes up-regulated by HrpL, visualized expression dspE leaves, established causes host cell death. its full length WxxxE-like motifs, which characteristic AvrE-family effectors, We also examined leaves showed hrpL is hrpN, loss a functional had unexpected effects other during leaf infection. These data support model where uses early infection initiate through elicitation DspE-mediated
