摘要: The pore morphology of textile filter structures is important for numerous technical applications. It determines the functional properties surgical textiles, such as effective barrier function and wearing comfort. Surgical protective textiles must fulfil both these contradictory functions. To date, basic research has not been successful, either theoretically or experimentally, in describing complex correlation between 3D structure woven their while simultaneously remaining permeable. In an attempt to clarify this issue, high density multi-filament were categorised according geometry, morphology, permeability retention by virtual modelling morphology. Differentiation was made mesostructures (pores yarns) microstructures within yarn itself). process it possible identify influence weaving parameters on determine resulting properties. Various new testing methods developed successfully implemented characterise evaluate experiments show that selecting specific yarns weave constructions, can be positively influenced adapted a wide range requirements.
