摘要: Networking testbeds are playing an increasingly important role in the development of new communication technologies. Testbeds traditionally built for a particular project or to study specific technology. An alternative approach is federate existing a) cater experimenter needs which cannot be fullled by single testbed, and b) provide wider variety environmental settings at different scales. These heterogenous allow approaches environments similar what one finds real world. This paper presents OMF, control, measurement, management framework testbeds. It describes through some examples versatility OMF's current architecture gives directions federation OMF. In addition, this introduces comprehensive experiment description language that allows describe resource requirements their configurations, as well orchestration. Researchers would thus able reproduce on same testbed environment with little changes. Along efficient support large scale experiments, use repeatable experiments will networking field build culture cross verification therefore strengthen its scientific approach.
