摘要: Abstract The influence of inertia and thermal effects (heat conduction, softening) on the ductility is studied within theoretical framework a one-dimensional model for uniaxial tension. A linearized study stability discussed; nonlinear quasi-static dynamic analyses are presented; they allow proper description at least part growth, adiabatic decrease ductility. results compared with available experimental data. limitations discussed.
