摘要: Novel nanostructured films employing hyperbranched and all-linear TiO2 nanorods have been developed with the aim to overcome impediments diffusion of bulky redox shuttles in photo-electrochemical devices. The porosity working electrodes has tailored by appropriately selecting nanocrystal building blocks study how electrode features affect electrochemical parameters underlying charge-transport phenomena photovoltaic properties dye-sensitized solar cells. An optimized combination porosity, light-harvesting capability, enhanced electron-transport leads a remarkable improvement device efficiency from 1.3% 8.6%. These results suggest that it is indeed possible properly design photoanodes based on shape-engineered nanocrystals, which can be suitable for different devices such as fuel cells or storage viscous quasi-solid electrolytes.
