摘要: Abstract A study on the magnetic properties of both bulk and thin film forms charge ordered Gd–Sr manganites belonging to series Gd 1− x Sr MnO 3 ( =0.3, 0.5, 0.6) was performed. In case bulk, it is found that moments order antiparallel manganese spins giving rise a ferrimagnetic behavior. spin glass transition due competing ferromagnetic (FM) antiferromagnetic (AFM) interactions observed at around 42 K. Bulk form 0.7 0.3 exhibits magnetization reversal for applied fields 25 Oe 50 Oe very low temperatures. films, coercivity be lower when compared their counterparts. Thin glassy behavior an field 200 Oe similar bulk. While =0.5 0.6, therefore large enough suppress phases in films. Reduced films has been attributed grain size effect.
