Simultaneously phase-matched parametric processes in a single-pass interaction for efficient visible generation

摘要: We demonstrate simultaneously phase-matched cascaded optical parametric amplification (OPA) and sum-frequency generation (SFG) processes in a single-pass interaction BBO crystal, where the seed pulse is produced through self-induced superfluorescence generation. Tunable femtosecond pulses blue-green spectral range are SFG with maximum conversion efficiency of about 12%.
