摘要: The normalized radial distribution of young stellar populations (and cold gas) in nearby galactic discs is compared between active nuclei (AGN) host galaxies and star-forming (both with Hubble types S0/a Scd) by using Type II supernovae (SNe II) as tracers. A subset 140 SNe available SN position measurements selected from the Sternberg Astronomical Institute (SAI)-Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) image catalogue requiring SDSS spectroscopy data their galaxies. Our sample finally composed 46 AGN 94 Both directly measured number distributions inferred surface density indicate that (a) detected follow an exponential law well; (b) contrast, significantly deviate law, which independent both morphological type redshift. Specifically, we find a detection deficit around R /R 25,cor ∼ 0.5 overdetection at outer region 0.6-0.8. This finding provides piece evidence supporting there link ongoing star formation gas reservoir) taking place extended disc central activity.
