摘要: Three decades of controversy over the putative blood pressure benefits from salt reduction are demonstrating how demands good science clash with pressures public health policy. Early studies seemed to support value reduction, leading current recommendation that everyone limit intake no more than 6 grams a day, four less our average. But as have improved, apparent diminished, while debate has grown vitriolic. Advocates public-health orthodoxy often cited only those bolster their position criticizing motives opponents.
