Synthesis of Pyridin‐2(1H)‐one Derivatives: Temperature‐Dependent Selectivity

摘要: Two alternative methods for the synthesis of biologically important pyridin-2(1H)-one derivatives have been developed. The behavior enamine 1 with aromatic amines in an aqueous solution HCl resulted formation substituted enamines 2a–f at ambient temperature. obtained product 2a–f, upon treatment 2,2,6-trimethyl-4H-1,3-dioxin-4-one, generated 5a–f along unwanted side products 8a–f. However, exclusive was achieved when starting from β-enaminones 3a–f, which were synthesized successfully and elevated temperatures.
