摘要: Many mass transfer kinetic models are used to study varying pressure steps of a swing adsorption (PSA) cycle, namely pressurization and blowdown steps. It is shown that the choice an appropriate model account for intra-particle diffusional limitations essential simulate accurately PSA processes. has been demonstrated that, besides mathematical approximations (parabolic profile within particle), very important factor can affect simulation results remarkably correctness when regarded as being balance adsorbent particle. In fact, neglecting gas phase leads erroneous simulations. Some widely in literature, such classic linear driving force (LDF) solid diffusion prove inadequate. recommended use pore well new version get reliable predictions.
