Detection of Grid Voltage Fundamental and Harmonic Components Using Kalman Filter and Generalized Averaging Method

摘要: The proper operation of single-phase and three-phase grid-connected power converters depends on the synchronization with utility networks. major challenge is how to quickly precisely extract ac signal fundamental positive sequence in single- systems, respectively. This paper proposes a new detection technique based modified Kalman filter generalized averaging method. method has an open-loop structure, uses orthogonal signals which are obtained directly from filter. resulted system very simple robust even presence quality disturbances, such as voltage imbalance, harmonics, fluctuations. proposed can detect harmonics frequencies within or less than half cycle all situations, small considerable frequency variations. Meanwhile, guarantees zero steady-state error complicated harmonic scenarios, including typical harmonics. Various case studies assessed performance verified by experiments.
