摘要: The loading cycle in an Open Pit mine is a critical stage the production process that needs to be controlled detail for performance optimization. A comprehensive Alert System designed notify supervisors of times are below required standards proposed. system gives alert message when one or several trucks idle time completing tasks over predefined value. This identified by and compared with pre-established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) order determine corrective actions. goal strategies help supervisor optimize haulage model. discrete-event simulator has been built analyze different scenarios route design queue analysis. methodology utilizes algorithms developed identify least productive fleet. These results displayed every simulation finished. research focuses on optimization haulage. However, intended implementation subsequent stages process, resulting improvement could impact planning management as well. Topographic drilling exploration data from located hypothetically state Arizona, were used build block model open pit; Arena-based was generate operating cycles represent actual operations (As-Is model). Once implemented, adjustments applied, new performed taking into consideration these (To-Be model), including comparative analysis statistical results.
