摘要: Abstract Thermolysis of plastic waste may have an important role in dealing with the enormous amounts produced all over world, by decreasing their negative impact on environment. This be converted into economically valuable hydrocarbons, which can used both as fuels and feed stock petrochemical industry. End product yields properties depend composition. The presence PE (polyethylene) increases alkane content, whilst PS (polystyrene) leads to higher aromatic content end product. alkene formation benefited from PP (polypropylene). Although, desired products obtained adequate blending wastes, it is not always technically or possible obtain quality required. addition a catalyst could only improve obtained, but also enable selectivity certain achieved. To study influence several catalysts distribution, average composition existing Portuguese municipal solid wastes (68% PE, 16% PS) was chosen. Unfortunately, studied this work, led results similar those absence.
