摘要: Abstract In this paper, a method of mass flow measurement was presented based on swirl motion motivated by specific shapes swirlers. The measuring principle the has been proposed theoretical analysis and verified experiment numerical simulation. relationship between average axial velocity ( v z ) static differential pressure pipe wall center cross section downstream swirler ∆ P especially emphasized. It shows that is in direct proportion to when certain fluid flows through swirler. For swirler, there exist two places with different radius corresponding tangential velocities, whereas same values acceleration. RSM used as turbulence model Compared experiments, relative errors coefficient α are 1.25% 4.74% for sections 2 . 7 D 11 8 respectively, which within scope acceptable. addition, we conducted simulation work influences results show bigger angle each slice less numbers slices will achieve This may provide an alternative way easier be standardized than other nonstandard flowmeters.
