摘要: Phonograph records are placed on a turntable and rotated in an anti-clockwise direction. A cleaning fluid, which may be water, organic solvent or aqueous detergent solution, is applied to the innermost edge of grooved recording area. Since groove spirals outwardly clockwise direction, motion causes fluid travel across record, carrying foreign matter with it. Waste removed by positioning trough drainage means. Cleaning supplied record nozzle connected via pump supply tank mounted adjacent trough. If desired rinsing liquid similar manner.
