摘要: A self-healing drop/insert (D/I) communication method and network are provided. The comprises two end stations a chain of intermediate D/I multiplexer to which the connected by lines, so as provide in both directions, East West, for multiple data and/or voice channels between any stations. According invention, collocated or located near one another event break failure network, they interconnected form station, whereas on each side become new transmitted is then redirected away from point failure, when it occurs, thereby allowing self-heal remain operational after failure.
