摘要: Resveratrol and its derivatives are potent inhibitors of myeloperoxides, an enzyme released by neutrophils which causes tissue damage in diseases involving chronic inflammation. Such include but not limited to atherosclerosis, arthritis, Alzheimer's disease, sepsis (endotoxic shock), inflammatory skin disease (psoriasis), gum (gingivitis), bowel disease.
