摘要: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common high-grade intracranial tumor in adults. It characterized by uncontrolled proliferation, diffuse infiltration due to high invasive and migratory capacities, as well intense resistance chemo- radiotherapy. With a five-year survival of less than 3% an average rate 12 months after diagnosis, GBM has become focus current research urgently develop new therapeutic approaches order prolong patients. The methylation status promoter region O6-methylguanine–DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) nowadays routinely analyzed since methylated beneficial for effective response temozolomide-based chemotherapy. Furthermore, several miRNAs were identified regulating MGMT expression, apart from methylation, degrading mRNA before protein translation. These could be promising innovative treatment approach enhance Temozolomide (TMZ) sensitivity unmethylated patients increase progression-free long-term survival. In this review, relevant are systematically reviewed.
