摘要: Abstract This paper proposes a detailed analysis of the evolution Canadian energy systems under some selected EMF (Energy Modeling Forum) 34 scenarios. Our is based on NATEM, an model that follows TIMES approach International Energy Agency to represent in detail sector each 13 provinces and territories. NATEM shows imposing different renewable penetration constraints for electricity generation has limited impacts outside sector. In particular, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions continue increase over time. Conversely, imposition carbon tax broader GHG are almost stabilized. However, level envisions by study (increasing maximum $130 per tonne 2050) not high enough, context, trigger decrease time as mandated climate policies.
