摘要: A study of monolayer characteristics some thermotropic liquid-crystal forming molecules on water surfaces has been carried out. Monolayers horizontal rigid with two polar heads collapse compression by a “roll over” mechanism. Variation temperature within an appropriate range gradually changes from liquid-like to crystal-like collapse. Between these extremes combination both states could be obtained. The state the corresponding film is attributed mesogenic properties compounds investigated. This investigation proves that are able form liquid-crystals surface.
