Meta-analysis of Studies and Patents on Korean ginseng in Recent 5 Years in Korea and Prospective Needs

摘要: Research literatures (e.g. research report, scientific paper and thesis, published between 2001 2005) of 332 collected from KISTI, KISS, ARPC databases were investigated analyzed to give an overview domestic ginseng researches. Most recent researches have been performed by private nonprofit institutions individuals, which suggests that a role public institution fur needed be enlarged. In terms fields, cultivation agricultural mainly accomplished in research. Cell physiology reproductive function occupied large part pharmacological studies, but clinical studies relatively limited. Studies on general food products development taken the main fields including functional foods. As result analysis 312 patents classifications world international property organization (WIPO), it was categorized into technology, medicinal fermentation agriculture-fisheries technology. This integrated widely scattered shows current trends Korea will able suggest further needs cultivation, industralization ginseng.
