In addition we have analyzed demographic data clinical characteristics RSV-positive patients comparing with infected by respiratory viruses. We also described seasonality occurrence a hospital Sao Paulo. Children below 5 years old admitted Santa Casa de Paulo Hospital between February 2005 September 2006 acute (ARI) were included. A nasopharyngeal specimens obtained sterile No. French feeding catheters as soon possible (usually within 24 h).
